Diary of the World (Part 1)

Day: 1

Today is my first day traveling the world! I just got on the plane to Thailand and I can’t wait to start exploring. I just got off the plane and I am heading to baggage claim. I am at baggage claim and after a few minutes I got my orange suitcase. I am heading through security now. Security was fast, they had these big machines so I didn’t have to take out my camera, my phone, my computer or my kindle. I just got out of the airport and I am sweating to death. I literally just got out 5 minutes ago and I already finished my water bottle, that’s how hot it is. I got to my airbnb and just plopped down on the couch. I got a little bit bored so I went and looked around the house. I walked down the long hallway and opened some doors. I saw a bathroom to my left and a kitchen to my right. I walked upstairs and found my bedroom. It was a queen bed with a side table and another bathroom with a bathtub shower combo. After a little while I decided to go outside. As soon as I stepped outside I felt a wave of heat. After a little while I found a traditional restaurant and decided it was late enough for dinner. Everything on the menu sounded so good but after a little while I decided on the pineapple fried rice. It was amazing. After I paid and left I stumbled upon a cart selling “Roti” and thought the chocolate banana one might be good for dessert. So I paid him and started eating it. It was so delicious, It is like a pancake but better. After that I went home and fell asleep.

Day: 11

I woke up with a smile on my face. I got dressed, brushed teeth and took a shower. After that I ate out for breakfast since I forgot to do grocery shopping. Breakfast was banana Roti and a bit of Mango Sticky Rice on the side. After that I went grocery shopping and got cereal, toast etc. Then I found a giant statue of Buddha and paid a little bit of money to go to the top (P.S. not the top top though that was VIP as you can see in the picture below). After taking in the breathtaking views I started descending. After that I went and found a massage place and got a full body massage. It was the best feeling I ever felt. After that I went into a gift shop and bought a few stickers and a magnet. After that I went to get lunch. I tried Pad Thai and Laab (Laab is a spicy salty and hot salad found in Thailand). After that I took a taxi to go to an elephant sanctuary where I rode elephants for 30 minutes and then got to bathe and swim with them for an hour. Then I took a taxi back into the center of the city and saw a palace. Turns out I was looking at the grand palace. I took off my shoes and stepped inside. It was so cool with statues left and right. When I exited I saw a tiny car with no doors. Turns out this tiny car was called a tuk-tuk and it led tours. I hired it and it showed me some beautiful places and afterwards it took me home. Once I was home I brushed my teeth and changed into my pajamas and after a little bit of tossing and turning fell asleep.

To be continued….

(P.S. This is a fictional story and did not happen in real life. For example, a taxi to the elephant sanctuary would take hours).
